Traditional Braces 

With traditional braces wires and brackets are used to put pressure on the teeth and gradually move them back into a correct position. Over several years the bands are tightened to keep the pressure on the teeth. One of the main advantages to traditional braces is they cannot be removed by the patient, which eliminates the possibility of children losing them. Today children and teens can get colored or multicolored bands to spruce up their look and express their personality. Some teenagers are so self conscience about the wires that they prefer the clear brackets and wires. Dr. Lopez provides those as well.

Clear Wire/Bracket Braces
