Types of Teeth Whitening Offered

PureDental offers two methods of teeth whitening to choose from: in-office (same day) treatment and Zoom! take-home whitening kits. Both offer significant and professional results, but each provides unique advantages to meet the needs and timeframe of our cosmetic dentistry patients.

Take-Home vs. In-Office

Take home trays are worn for about an hour per day, with visible results after the first few applications. Full results are seen within 10-14 days. In-office whitening is completed here in our Chicago, IL office and takes about 60-90 minutes to complete.

Which is Right for You?

For our patients with more tenacious dental stain and natural tooth discoloration, we recommend in-office whitening that’s applied by our holistic dental team. This ensures the fullest results possible. Same day whitening is also ideal if you have an important upcoming event or may be too busy to keep up with an at-home system. Take home trays offer the same level of results with the convenience of whitening and touching up your teeth as necessary.
